Lead Director Iain MacLaren who recently attained his Climate Solutions Management qualification from Strathclyde University commented: “this is a watershed moment for the Watts business as we implement a clear and informed strategy in how we reduce our carbon footprint and ensure an accountable and transparent process in the way our carbon emission metrics are recorded, reported, and most importantly reduced. The SME Climate Hub accreditation itself is a third-party verification system which demonstrates that Watts has committed to key environmental initiatives as it moves toward becoming a Net Zero carbon emission business. The benefits of this sustainable business certification go well beyond a certificate of proof; the process itself is regularly tracked and reported to create a sustainable and committed culture around environmental awareness and social responsibility within the business. Watts look forward to embracing our journey to Net Zero and will update on our key milestones moving forwards.
